Runners up at Royal Bank of Scotland Regatta

A combined team from renaissance and Jones Robinson were overall runners up at the 2007 Royal Bank of Scotland Yachting Regatta. 2007 was only the second year that renaissance has entered the competition and success was achieved despite loosing two members of a five person crew literally moments before setting sail. Beating off thirty other boats to come second was a proud achievement by a largely novice crew which was made more challenging by numerous mechanical failures, including at one point a broken spinnaker pole!
